Greenwich is jam-packed with Easter activities this half term – perfect for the entire family.
From egg and spoon races to creating your very own solar system, Greenwich has plenty of adventuresome activities to enjoy this Easter.
The News Shopper has rounded up five family fun events to enjoy this Easter break:
1. Endeavour an Easter adventure quest at Eltham Palace and Gardens
This Easter, explore Eltham Palace and Gardens to hunt for clues and challenges - whilst taking part in traditional Easter games like egg and spoon races.
If guests can successfully track down the hidden Easter eggs, they’ll be rewarded with chocolate treats and an adventurer’s certificate.
The quest is available every day during the school holidays and costs £1.50 - in addition to the normal admission prices.
2. See a stargazing planetarium show at the Royal Observatory Museum
Why not head to London’s ONLY planetarium and watch Starstruck, a live show presented by an astronomer.
The show aims to explore the lives of stars, from birth to death, whilst answering fascinating questions about the twinkling lights we see in the nights sky.
Whilst at the Royal Observatory, guests can explore the history of the museum – such as standing on the historic Prime Meridian Line and marvel at one of the UK’s largest telescopes.
Starstruck will be running daily during the easter break at 3.30pm.
3. Adventure through the woods with The Gruffalo at Greenwich Theatre
Join Mouse on an adventure through the deep, dark woods in the musical adaptation of the picture book, The Gruffalo.
This beloved tale will be showing at the Greenwich Theatre on April 13 and 14, with prices starting from just £14.00.
The Gruffalo has already toured across Britain, and promises to bring songs, laughs and monstrous fun for children AND grownups.
Show time is 55 minutes with no interval.

4. Hop along Greenwich with Bunnies in the Bed
The popular family Easter celebration returns to Charlton House and Gardens on Sunday April 10.
From 11am until 3pm, children can discover treats, spring plants and hidden bunnies in garden beds.
With free entry, guests can explore and learn about the eventful history of the Jacobean rooms at Charlton House, as well as the stunning walled gardens and grounds.
There will also be a drop-in children’s craft session for just £2.00 per child.
As well as the Easter fun, guests can expect a plant sale – hosted by the Charlton and Blackheath Amateur Horticultural society.
5. Participate in a delightful bunch of Easter activities at the Old Royal Navy College
The Old Royal Navy College has a grand selection of activities being held this Easter – ranging from creating your own bunny ears to creating your own solar systems.
From April 2 – 18, join an enthralling hunt to track down clues, gather information and reveal the name of a secret location where a chocolate prize awaits.
The trail costs £3 and children must be accompanied by an adult.
On April 17, spring themed activities will be available for all the family - including arts and crafts where guests can create bunny ears and pom-pom chicks.
