A man from Woolwich has been fined almost £400 after dropping a cigarette outside Sainsbury’s.
Spyrydon Liagkas of Kingsman Street in Woolwich was fined £384 for depositing a cigarette in Calderwood Street on July 30, 2021.
This includes a £200 fine, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £150.
The verdict was proved in a single justice procedure at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on March 1, 2022.
Section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies in this area.
The fine for the offence must be paid by March 29, 2022.
