Two men have been taken into custody after a bag was hidden inside a bush and a search uncovered an expandable baton in Lewisham.
Police say they spotted two men hide a bag inside a bush.
Officers then searched two men and the bush, and a weapon was reportedly recovered.
Two men have been taken into custody.
Met Police task force tweeted: “#TSG - U41 working around @MPSLewisham when two males on sight of police had hidden a bag inside a bush, upon searching them and the bush, the below had been recovered.
Weapon off the street and two in custody!
