A man from Lewisham has been fined after breaching Covid rules in Southwark.
On March 9, 2021, Aliou Camara met up with more than two people in Southwark – which at the time was a Tier 4 area of England.
Camara, of Pincott Place, was fined £1,310 after participating in a gathering of more than two people during tier 4 covid restrictions.
Tier 4 Covid regulations stated only two people could meet in a public space.
Camara, 21, was ordered to pay £1,310 for the offence during a single justice procedure hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on March 2, 2022.
The payment includes a £1,100 fine, £110 to victim services and general costs of £100.
Camara must pay the £1,310 fine by March 30, 2022.
