A man who was caught drink-driving in Greenwich has been fined more than £200 and disqualified from driving.
Mr. Oluwatosin Elijah Idowu, 28, was under the influence of alcohol whilst driving a Vauxhall astra on Green Way, SE9.
Idowu, of Derwent Street, exceeded the prescribed limit of alcohol as 54 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath on September 23, 2021.
Idowu was ordered to pay £239 for the offence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on March 9, 2022.
This includes a £120 fine, £34 to fund victim services and prosecution service costs of £85.
Idowu was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 36 months from November 3, 2021 – this can be reduced to 36 weeks if he completes a course approved by the secretary of state.
Idowu will be paying £20 per month commencing 06/04/2022.
