A man has been fined in court for breaching Covid rules at Bexley Cricket Ground.
George Joyce, 19, admitted to attending a gathering of two or more people in a public outdoor place - Bexley Cricket Ground in Manor Way - on January 28, 2021.
London was under Tier 4 restrictions at the time, which saw people only allowed to leave home for essential purposes, such as to buy food and medical supplies, or for daily exercise.
Joyce, of Murchison Avenue in Bexley, was ordered to pay £492 in total for the offence during a single justice procedure hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 2, 2022.
This includes a fine of £366, £36 to fund victim services and costs of £90.
This must be paid by March 30, 2022.
