A woman from Orpington is among three people who have been fined after breaching Covid rules at a McDonald's restaurant.

Lily Foster, of Ainsdale Close in Orpington, has been found guilty of participating in a gathering on March 10, 2021.

Anderson Harrison, of Glebe Way in West Wickham, and Jamie Nordin, of Orchard Way in Croydon, have also been found guilty of the same offence on the same day.

London was under Tier 4 restrictions at the time, which saw people only allowed to leave home for essential purposes, such as to buy food and medical supplies, or for daily exercise.

The gatherings each consisted of more than two people and were in a public outdoor place at a McDonald's restaurant in Purley Way in Croydon.

The verdicts were proved in Single Justice Procedure hearings at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 2, 2022.

Harrison, 22, and Foster, 22, were ordered to pay £1,310 each for the offence.

This includes a £1,100 fine, £110 to fund victim services and costs of £100.

Nordin, 20, admitted the offence and was ordered to pay £502.

This includes a £375 fine, £37 to fund victim services and costs of £90.

They all must pay the fines by March 30, 2022.
