A driver of a van has fled from the scene after a crash with a bus in Orpington.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Chipperfield and Mickleham Road shortly before 8.15am today (March 6).
Officers say it is believed the driver of the van left the scene on foot before the arrival of police.
A number of roads were closed but have now reopened following the incident.
No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made as enquires continue.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called shortly before 8.15am to the junction of Chipperfield Road and Mickleham Road following reports of a collision involving a bus and a van.
“It is believed the driver of the van left the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
“A number of roads were closed while emergency services attended, these have since reopened.
“No injuries were reported.
“No arrests and enquiries continue.”
