A man has crashed into a building, escaped on foot and then been found and taken to hospital in an incident in Brockley.
Police officers on patrol in Brockley Road at around 11.30pm on Tuesday night saw a car driving erratically.
The car then crashed into a building and a man escaped on foot.
Police followed the man, who is in his 40s, and administered first aid.
He was then taken to hospital by ambulance crews - where he remains.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and enquiries are ongoing.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "While officers were on patrol in Brockley Road, SE4 at about 23:30hrs on Tuesday, 22 February when they became aware of a car driving erratically.
"The car collided with a building on Brockley Road and a man left on foot.
"Officers confirmed there were no other occupants in the car.
"Officers followed and administered first aid and a man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service where he remains.
"His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"Enquiries ongoing."
