A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed in Greenwich.
Police were called at 12.50pm this afternoon to reports of a 14-year-old boy with a stab injury in Eltham.
He had been taken to a south London hospital.
The incident is believed to have happened in the vicinity of Sibthorpe Road.
Enquiries to establish specifically where are ongoing.
The boy's condition is not life-threatening.
There have been no arrests as of yet.
A Section 60 stop and search order has been authorised until 1.30am tomorrow.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 12:53hrs on Tuesday, 15 February to reports of a 14-year-old boy with a stab injury in Eltham SE9.
"Officers were informed the boy had been taken to a south London hospital. His condition is not life-threatening.
"At this early stage there have been no arrests.
"The incident is believed to have happened in the vicinity of Sibthorpe Road. Enquiries to establish specifically where are ongoing.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
"A Section 60 Order has been authorised."
