Police have made three arrests after a Welling pub was allegedly burgled overnight.
The Foresters Arms’ landlord reportedly heard noises, including a female voice, at around 3am this morning (February 8).
Inside the pub, lights were on, the fruit machine had been moved and a partially drunk vodka bottle had been left on the bar. The charity bottle and staff tip jar had also been taken.
After going back to bed, the landlord and lady were woken again by noise at 4.40am.
They noticed lights were on in the back garden, spotting silhouettes at the side door. Police were called again.
Three people were seen on CCTV running out of the side of the pub towards King’s Highway. Officers located them on Southland Road, nine minutes from the pub, making arrests.
