A man and a woman have died in a crash involving three cars in Orpington while another man has been taken to hospital.
Police were called to A21 Sevenoaks Road near Knockhold Station yesterday (February 5) shortly after 1.40pm to reports of a crash.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the occupants of one of the vehicles, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s died at the scene.
Enquiries are underway to notify their next of kin.
Another man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
Officers are awaiting an update on his condition.
Road closures were put in place following the incident.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to A21 Sevenoaks Road, near Knockholt Railway Station, at 13.43hrs on Saturday, 5 February to reports of a collision involving three cars.
“Officers attended.
“Despite the efforts of emergency services, the occupants of one of the vehicles, a man in his 80s, and a woman in her 70s, died at the scene.
“Enquiries are underway to notify next of kin.
“Another man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.
“Road closures have been put in place.
“Any witnesses are asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 3791/05Feb.”
