An arrest has been made after a stolen moped was ridden by a man who reportedly had drugs and a machete on him.
Officers made the arrest after stopping a man the SE9 area yesterday (February 4).
The man reportedly struggled with officers as he was searched.
A machete was reportedly found on a man’s waistband along with a quantity of drugs.

Greenwich Police (@MPSGreenwich) tweeted: “#Arrested.
“Today Violence Suppression Unit (VSU) Officers detained a male in SE9 who was riding a stolen moped.
“The male was searched and began struggling with officers, a machete was found secreted in his waistband.
“A quantity of drugs was also found.
“#Drugs Potted plant #KnifeHocho”
