A van driver who chased and ran over a man during a mass armed brawl on a public green in Chislehurst has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Alfie Tullet, 33, admitted killing Frankie Bulbrook during an alleged fight between two groups on July 24 2020.
Mr Bulbrook, 34, suffered catastrophic injuries and died at the scene on Belmont Green.
Tullet, of East Malling, Kent, had denied murder, manslaughter and violent disorder.
In the second week of his Old Bailey trial, he changed his plea and admitted manslaughter and violent disorder.
Prosecutor Charlotte Newell QC said the Crown did not wish the jury to consider the murder charge.
Judge Simon Mayo QC discharged the jury, which was also considering charges of violent disorder against five co-defendants who will face a retrial
