A woman has been taken to a south London hospital after she was found on the other side of the railings on Erith Pier.
Police were called this morning (January 27) at around 8.50am to reports regarding a safety concern of a woman on Wharfside Close.
Emergency services attended the scene where they found the woman on the other side of the railings of the pier.
The woman was brought to safety and taken to a south London hospital.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 8.52am on Thursday, 27 January regarding a concern of safety for a woman who was on the other side of the railings on the pier in Wharfside Close, Erith.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Attended and the woman was brought to safety and taken to a south London hospital.”
