A toy gun was found at a retail park in Crayford after armed police responded to reports of a person seen with a firearm.
Police were called at 11.52am yesterday (January 24) to reports of a person seen with a firearm in Tower Retail Park.
Armed officers attended and carried out a search in the area.
Police stopped a group of people who were found to be in possession of a toy gun.
No offences were committed.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 11:52hrs on Monday, 24 January to reports of a person seen with a firearm in the vicinity of the Tower Retail Park in Crayford.
“Armed officers attended and carried out a search of the area.
“They stopped a group of people who were found to be in possession of a toy gun.
“No offences were committed.”
