Lewisham Police are appealing for information after suspects entered a food store in Catford with a kitchen knife before stealing cigarettes.
Two hooded men wearing face masks entered Lees Foodstore in 102 Brookdale Road at 7.55am on August 3, 2021.
They entered wearing gloves and one had a holdall while the other held a plastic bag.
The pair can be seen hovering in the shop as the man behind the counter ducks down and stands back up.
One of the men opens the door to leave the store, but stops and stays as the other trespasses behind the counter.
The two suspects and the shop keeper then seem to be involved in a scuffle before one of the suspects can be seen going back behind the counter.
The other suspect tries to escape but a woman appears to hit him with a large stick.
He tries to grab the stick before damaging the display in the shop.
The shopkeeper can then be seen on the floor trying to push the suspect away before the two end up fighting.
The suspect then grabs the stick from the woman, throws it, and escapes with the other suspect.
The shop keeper can be seen trying to chase after the pair - but the woman holds him back.
The terrifying incident had ended by 8.05am.
Lewisham police officers are asking if the public can help to name the suspects.
