A person died this afternoon after being hit by a train near Bickley station.
Police were called to the line shortly after 1.30pm (January 7), following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended, and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
All lines were blocked between Bromley South and Sevenoaks, as emergency services dealt with the incident.
Trains have since resumed service between the two stations, although they are subject to delays and alterations.
Bickley will not be served by trains in either direction.
