A Week of Prayer for Christian Unity begins this evening (Jan 18) at St Mark's Catholic Church, High Street, West Wickham.
The week-long schedule of services is intended to bring together Christian worshippers of various denominations.
There is to be one service held each day at a different church in the West Wickham area, with two being held this Sunday.
All churches are in West Wickham, unless otherwise indicated.
The timetable of services, and their locations, is as follows: Tonight (Jan 18) at 8 PM at St Mark's Catholic Church. Call 020 8777 6086.
Tomorrow's service (Jan 19) is to be held at 10.30 AM at Emmanuel United Reformed Church, The Grove (020 8777 1007).
As noted, two services will be held on Sunday (Jan 20), the morning service at 10.30 at West Wickham Methodist Church, Hawes Lane (020 8777 0812), with the evening service at 6.30 PM at St Francis of Assisi (Church of England), Ravenswood Avenue (020 8777 5034).
Services for the rest of the week will all be at 8 PM.
Monday's (Jan 21) service will be held at St Mary of Nazareth (Church of England), The Avenue (also on 020 8777 5034).
West Wickham and Shirley Baptist Church, at the corner of Wickham Road and Monks Orchard Road, Shirley (020 8777 5705), is to be the venue on Tuesday (Jan 22), and on Wednesday (Jan 23) the Hawes Lane Methodist Church Lane will be hosting another service.
Coney Hill Baptist Church, Coney Hill Road (020 8462 7311) will be the location on Thursday (Jan 24), with the final service of the week being held on Friday evening (Jan 25) at St John the Baptist Church (Church of England), off Layhams Road (020 8462 4001).
