Orpington will be home to a new Aldi store this week.
The new supermarket in Sevenoaks Way is opening this Thursday, December 2.
New stores will also open in Harringay and in Cheam this year.
The new stores form part of Aldi’s commitment to invest more than £22 million in new and upgraded stores across London and within the M25 in 2021.
Each new store opening creates over 30 new jobs on average - with store assistants earning up to £11.32 inside the M25, with paid breaks included.
The new London locations follow on from Aldi opening its 50th London store in Dalston earlier in October.
Ben Shotter, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “There are still too many people living in the capital for whom shopping at Aldi isn’t a convenient option.
"We’re committed to changing that, having hit our 50th London store milestone this month, with several further openings before the end of 2021.
“The new stores bring us one step closer to our goal of making our award-winning products at unbeatable prices easily accessible to shoppers across London, and we look forward to welcoming local customers in for their weekly shop.”
Aldi opened its first London store in September 1995 in Feltham.
The supermarket recently announced it will open 100 new stores across the UK over the next two years and invest £1.3 billion in a bid to further grow its retail estate.
