An elderly man was rushed to hospital after being knocked down by a van in Locksbottom.
Police were called to Crofton Road at 12.18pm yesterday (November 17) following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian.
Officers attended alongside the ambulance service, who rushed the victim, in his 70s, to hospital.
His injuries were assessed as non-life threatening. No arrests have been made, as enquiries continue.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.15pm yesterday (November 17) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Crofton Road, Orpington.
"We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a car.
"A man was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital."
