This year the Shard's Christmas lights display returns with the theme of celebrating reuniting with loved ones.
The annual seasonal display will return on Wednesday, December 1 at 4 pm, and will end on New Year's Eve.
With members of London's emergency services and their families being invited to switch on the lights.
The top 20 stories of the Shard will be illuminated and are inspired by the nation's chance to unite with loved ones this festive season.
The display follows last year's display which showed gratitude to all key workers and NHS staff that worked throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Shard's Lights 2021, will run every day from December 1 at 4 pm to 1 am and will fill London's sky with dazzling lights.
Not only will the lights honour the emergency workers that work through the festive period, but it hopes to encourage Londoners to look up and reflect on relationships will loved ones.
Thanks to the height and location of the Shard it is estimated that the lights are the most viewed Christmas lights in the UK, with the eight million people living across the city easily being able to catch a glimpse.
