The A2 coastbound near to Bexley is in a pool of water today (Sunday) following heavy rainfall over night and throughout the morning.
Drivers are being warned to "approach with caution" as the left lane of the coastal-bound road is consumed by water.
Video footage from a car passenger driving on the A2 just after the Black Prince Interchange and heading down to One Lane shows the river-like scenes.
The floods are producing waves of water and the road can barely be seen underneath the pools.
Hannah Wood was a passenger in a car travelling along the flooded road this morning - and said the waves of water were scary.
She told the News Shopper: "I was a passenger and it was scary at times as the water was making big waves as lorries drove through it."
The video also shows fallen-down trees lining the side of the road which look to have been battered by the rain and wind.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain from 12am on Sunday to 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
