The Labour Party has selected its candidate for the Old Bexley & Sidcup Parliamentary By-Election.
Daniel Francis has been selected as the Labour Party candidate for the Old Bexley & Sidcup By-election.
Daniel has lived in Bexley his whole life and his children attend local schools.
Daniel has been a borough councillor for 17 years and is the longest serving Labour councillor on the Borough council.
He is currently the shadow cabinet member for energy, climate and housing.
Labour says a vote for Daniel is a vote for standing up for small businesse, prioritising community safety and driving investment to local areas.
The by-election follows the death of MP Conservative James Brokenshire.
Old Bexley and Sidcup has been held by the Conservatives since its creation and Brokenshire had a majority of 18,952.
