A landslip in Greenhithe which caused huge disruption to trains on Thursday has been "dug up" overnight.
The landslip was blocking the train lines between Dartford and Gravesend which completely prevented all trains from running throughout the day.
National Rail Kent and Sussex has since issued an update this morning (Friday) which said the landslip had been "dug out" overnight to get the route open again today.
It added: "Your patience was appreciated on a difficult day".
National Rail thanked passengers on the line on Thursday.
⚠️🌧 Thanks so much to @Se_Railway + @TLRailUK passengers on the Gravesend line yesterday. We dug out the #Greenhithe landslip overnight and got the route open again for today. Your patience was appreciated on a difficult day. Thank you also to Nad for the pics - busy night! 👷♂️ pic.twitter.com/cwMrfmbHer

The train operator had said it estimated around "30t" of muck had slid down - blocking the tracks.
⚠️🌧️ UPDATE: This is #Greenhithe, just east of the tunnel. We estimate around 30t of muck has slid down and it is still very wet. We are planning our response, mobilising teams and machines to get cracking ASAP + working with @Se_Railway + @TLRailUK to manage train services. /1 pic.twitter.com/TYkUPS58Sl

The trains were not able to run for around 24 hours - but are now back up and running as normal.
