Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Greenwich on Sunday night.

Police were called to Marine Drive at around 8.20pm on October 17 after reports of an 18-year-old man being stabbed.

Two arrests have since been made.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack or saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time to come forward.

The public is urged to call 1010 using reference 6760/17OCT with any information.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.20pm yesterday (17 October) to reports of a stabbing on Marine Drive, SE18.

"We sent a medic in a car, an ambulance crew, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched by road London's Air Ambulance.

"A man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority."

Greenwich Police said: "Police called to Marine Drive @ 20:23 on 17/10 after reports of an 18 year old male being stabbed.

"2 arrests have been made.

"Did you witness the attack or any other suspicious behaviour in the area at the time? Call police on 101 with ref: 6760/17OCT or @CrimestoppersUK."
