A ten-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Crofton Park is in a critical condition.
Police and ambulance services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene outside Rivoli Ballroom at around 12.45pm on Sunday (October 10).
The victim, a pedestrian, was rushed to a south London hospital, where she remains in a “critical but stable condition", according to police.
The driver of the car is helping police with their enquiries, which are ongoing.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12:43pm yesterday (10 October) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Brockley Road, SE4.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene: two ambulance crews, three medics in cars and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance. The first of our medics arrived in under three minutes.
"We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre."
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage should contact police on 101, quoting ref CAD 4589/10 Oct.
