Police have arrested a 23-year-old man over the disappearance of a 15-year-old Bexley girl who was today found safe and well in a "wooded area".
Aaliyah Chen was reported missing on Monday, having last been seen in Sidcup at around 9.30pm on the evening of Sunday, September 5.
Officers believed she was in the company of an older man.
Following a high-risk missing person investigation, police said she was found in a wooded area in Croydon shortly before 12pm.
She was taken to a south London hospital as a precaution but is reported to be safe and well. Her family have been updated.
A 23-year-old was arrested at the scene in connection with her disappearance and is in police custody.
Police remain at the scene and a crime scene is in place, as enquiries continue.
