Highways England caught police attempting to catch the animal
Traffic ground to a halt on the M25 this morning after a cow strayed onto the road.
Traffic was blocked in both directions at around 9am near J6 Godstone as the brown cow stared down motorists.
A Highways England camera caught police attempting to rescue the stray animal.
The cow was eventually captured after an hour, allowing queueing traffic to be released.
