An iconic community pub in Orpington is set to reopen its doors again following an investment.
The Chelsfield has undergone a £400,000 investment by independent pubs operator Punch Pubs & Co.
The investment has "breathed new life" into the pub according to Punch Pubs & Co., and has enhanced its original charm and character.
The company are dubbing it a "new home from home" and said it has been restored to its former glory.
The Chelsfield also has a new outdoor space, featuring a sun terrace.
New management partner Nick Ranhem is set to reopen its doors with the help of manager Mike Tsirogiannis and their team.
It is reopening for advanced bookings only this weekend (Septmber 4).
From Monday it will then be fully open as usual for bookings and walk-ins.
Punch Pubs & Co. operations manager Nick Bone said: "We are so excited to reopen the doors of this iconic pub and unveil its new look.
"This pub means a great deal to the community, and we are confident that guests new and old will love the new look.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Mike and the team who can’t wait to begin welcoming guests back to the Chelsfield.
"We have been overwhelmed by local feedback so far, and we know many great memories are to be made at the Chelsfield”.
