House prices increased slightly, by 0.3 per cent, in Lewisham in June, new figures show.

The average Lewisham house price in June was £438,599, Land Registry figures show – a 0.3 per cent increase on May.
Over the month, the picture was less good than that across London, where prices increased 2.5 per cent, and Lewisham underperformed compared to the 4.5 per cent rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Lewisham rose by £15,000 – putting the area 23rd among London’s 33 local authorities for annual growth.
The best annual growth in the region was in Harrow, where property prices increased on average by 16.7 per cent, to £522,000. At the other end of the scale, properties in City of London lost 13.2 per cent. of their value, giving an average price of £756,000.
Owners of terraced houses saw the biggest improvement in property prices in Lewisham in June – they increased 0.6 per cent, to £531,562 on average.
Over the last year, prices rose by 5.8 per cent.
Greenwich
House prices increased by 3.7 per cent – more than the average for London – in Greenwich in June, new figures show.
The boost contributes to the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 9.2 per cent annual growth.
The average Greenwich house price in June was £427,497, Land Registry figures show – a 3.7 per cent increase on May.
Over the month, the picture was better than that across London, where prices increased 2.5 per cent, but Greenwich underperformed compared to the 4.5 per cent rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Greenwich rose by £36,000 – putting the area sixth among London’s 33 local authorities for annual growth.
Owners of terraced houses saw the biggest improvement in property prices in Greenwich in June – they increased 3.9 per cent, to £478,941 on average. Over the last year, prices rose by 10.5 per cent.
Bexley
House prices increased slightly, by 0.1 per cent, in Bexley in June, new figures show.
The boost contributes to the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 6.8 per cent annual growth.
The average Bexley house price in June was £364,502, Land Registry figures show – a 0.1 per cent increase on May.
Over the month, the picture was less good than that across London, where prices increased 2.5 per cent, and Bexley underperformed compared to the 4.5 per cent rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Bexley rose by £23,000 – putting the area 12th among London’s 33 local authorities for annual growth.
Owners of terraced houses saw the biggest improvement in property prices in Bexley in June – they increased 0.2 per cent, to £371,377 on average. Over the last year, prices rose by 7.9 per cent.
Bromley
House prices increased by 2.5 per cent in Bromley in June, new figures show.
The boost contributes to the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 14.4 per cent annual growth.
The average Bromley house price in June was £486,648, Land Registry figures show – a 2.5 per cent increase on May.
Over the month, the picture was similar to that across London, where prices increased 2.5 per cent, and Bromley underperformed compared to the 4.5 per cent rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Bromley rose by £61,000 – putting the area second among London’s 33 local authorities for annual growth.
Owners of terraced houses saw the biggest improvement in property prices in Bromley in June – they increased 2.7 per cent, to £443,266 on average. Over the last year, prices rose by 15.7 per cent.
Dartford
House prices dropped slightly, by 0.3 per cent, in Dartford in June, new figures show.
But the drop does not reverse the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 7.9 per cent annual growth.
The average Dartford house price in June was £327,255, Land Registry figures show – a 0.3 per cent decrease on May.
Over the month, the picture was worse than that across the South East, where prices increased 2.7 per cent, and Dartford underperformed compared to the 4.5 per cent rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Dartford rose by £24,000 – putting the area 36th among the South East’s 70 local authorities for annual growth.
Owners of semi-detached houses fared worst in Dartford in June – they dropped 0.4 per cent in price, to £222,504 on average. But over the last year, prices rose by 8.7 per cent.
