A new Bromley place-to-be has just opened its doors – and it’s a pub which caters for anyone and everyone.
Kids, families, dogs, sports fans and DJ party go-ers alike are all welcome at The Artful Duke located just off Bromley High Street.
It’s got a cool, fun and chilled out atmosphere and a sun-capturing front garden for an outdoor tipple.
Having opened just last week on August 13, The Artful Duke has already become a fitting addition to the Bromley scene – and manager Gosia Kalinowska says she’s already got some regulars and customer friends.
“A few customers already know my name and I’m starting to get to know them and they’re getting to know us inside out now,” Gosia told the News Shopper.
“I’ve seen people of all age ranges here already, literally families, young people, sports fans – every single type of person.
“I think they have been coming in because they’re really curious about what we are and what we do.
“It looks like a warm atmosphere from the outside and people want to see what’s new in Bromley after lockdown,” she added.
The Artful Duke has breakfast, lunch and dinner options – along with a range of beers, cocktails, bottomless brunches and Sunday roasts.
It even has a menu just for dogs – so your pooch can dig into some biscuits or beer while you do.
Gosia said: “I want this venue to be at the heart of Bromley and the heart of the community.
“People should know that they can have a quiet dinner here as well as a bit more of a crazy night on a Friday or a Saturday.
“They can feel comfortable here and really be part of our community as well.”
The Artful Duke’s opening was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic – but now it’s open seven days a week to make up for it.
You can visit from 8am to 11pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12am on Friday, 9am to 12am on Saturday and 10am to 11pm on Sunday.
Gosia added: “We’re just a friendly, comfortable pub.
“We want to offer good customer service and for people to recognise that.
“We basically have everything here, from delicious, freshly made food to beers that are different to other places.
“People can chill out here and smile so everyone really should come and see us.”
