Police have made two arrests after a car crashed during a Mottingham police chase, leaving a man with a head injury.
Police were pursuing the suspect vehicle along Dunkery Road, when it crashed into a car driven by a member of a public shortly before 1pm yesterday.
The driver, a man in his 20s, suffered a head injury. He was taken to hospital by air ambulance, where he remains in a stable condition
The occupants of the suspect vehicle, thought to be stolen, fled the scene.
A 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Fire services were called, working to release one person from a vehicle.
Two engines from Eltham and Sidcup fire stations and a rescue unit from East Ham Fire Station attended.
