The teenage victim of a fatal stabbing in Woolwich has been pictured and named locally.
Tamim Ian, 15, died at the scene in Woolwich town centre at around 6pm on Monday night, after he was found suffering severe stab wounds.
Another 15-year-old who self-presented at a south London hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police have been granted additional powers to disperse groups across the Greenwich borough over the next 24 hours.
A spokesperson for Greenwich Council said that, while some shielded the victim while he was receiving emergency treatment, others “took photos and videos which we are sickened to see posted on the internet.”

Residents reported hearing “screaming”, “shouting” and “sirens” as police were called to Woolwich New Road at around 5.30pm.
One woman, who works in the area, told reporters she heard sirens and saw a girl walking down the road, on her phone and visibly upset.
A man who works at a convenience store near the scene of the crime said he heard screaming and saw school children running.
Fresh bouquets were laid down at the scene from early Tuesday afternoon onwards.
Six bunches, including varieties of pink and red roses and other white, yellow and lilac-coloured flowers were placed at the cordon, some tied up in decorative ribbon.
It is understood that the block of shops is likely to be cordoned off for the next few days.
