A man and two women have been arrested in Pollards Hill in connection with the supply of Class A drugs.
Neighbours reported hearing loud "banging and shouting" early on Wednesday morning (May 19) as police raided an address in Yorkshire Road.
An eyewitness said: "It nearly gave me a heart-attack - all that noise made my heart sink.
"The banging and shouting, the police were extremely loud."
Following the incident, a spokesperson for Met Police confirmed they executed a search warrant at a property.
A statement read: "At around 6.30am on Wednesday, May 19, police carried out a warrant at an address on Yorkshire Road, Mitcham, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

"Three people, a 21-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman, and a 44-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of Class A drugs.
"They were taken to custody where they remain at this time. The investigation continues."
