Queen Elizabeth Hospital's fracture clinic is being moved to Lewisham for at least six months.
The move will allow Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust to carry out building works to improve the site.
The trust say the fracture clinic will move from the Woolwich hospital to University Hospital Lewisham from Monday, March 1.
They say the move is temporary, but will likely take at least six months whilst the area the clinic is located in is worked on.
The move will only affect outpatient appointments, with all follow-up appointments with the fracture clinic to take place at the Lewisham hospital.
During the time period, patients can still present themselves at QEH's emergency department with injuries.
Both adults and children seen initially at QEH will have their follow up appointments at the UHL clinic.
Any referrals from the Queen Mary’s Hospital fracture clinic or Erith walk-in-centre will also now be seen at UHL.
The UHL clinic is located at:
Fracture clinic
First floor, Yellow zone
University Hospital Lewisham
Lewisham High Street, SE13 6LH
All patient information relating to appointments will be updated accordingly.
