Snowfall in Cudham (Stephen Sangster)
Snow has unexpectedly fallen in Bromley, blanketing areas near Cudham and Biggin Hill.
A few inches worth fell overnight, despite the likelyhood of snowfall in the borough being forecast at zero per cent.
Father of three Stephen Sangster, 36, photographed the unexpected weather in Cudham on his daily exercise today at lunchtime.
He said: "It was all over the higher ground and a few inches. I heard Biggin hill got quite a bit too.
"It took everyone by surprise as it wasn’t forecast."
No further snow is forecast tonight, although the temperature may fall below zero.
