FAMILY and friends gathered at Christ Church in Bexleyheath Broadway, on Monday for the funeral of murder victim Mark Evans.
Mr Evans, 44, from Bexleyheath, was stabbed more than 30 times outside Timothy House in Kale Road, Thamesmead, on October 11.
Three men are currently remanded in custody, charged with killing Mr Evans.
They are Robert Randall, aged 24, of Holstein Way, Thamesmead; Gary Wheal, aged 27, of Kale Road, Thamesmead; and Carl Wheal, aged 35, of Lensbury Way, Thamesmead.
Two other men, aged 31 and 27, remain on police bail pending further inquiries.
