One man was arrested after it was found that he was already wanted by the BTP following a recent arrest for possession of a knife and for affray at Seven Sisters station.

Upon arrest at New Cross Gate station, he was found in possession of a controlled drug and a mobile phone which police believe was stolen at Waterloo station.

Officers were then granted special powers to search a linked address in Croydon as part of the investigation.

There they recovered a zombie knife, pictured at the top of the story, and the man has been taken into custody at a south London police station where he remains.
