A second Bexleyheath woman in a month has claimed she was saved by a masked vigilante with who fought off a gang of thieves with "kung-fu".
Saffy Danes, 29, was walking by Asda in mid February with friends when she was sprung upon by a group of four men, who knocked her to the ground, pulling away her handbag.
Before they could make an escape, an anonymous vigilante apparently intervened.
Ms Danes, a cashier, said: "Next thing we knew a tall man wearing black and a hood with what looked like a mask came in and literally Bruce lee fly kicked the man off my friends and then went about kung-fu kicking non stop.
"We then stood to the side and watched as he beat the hell out of our attackers.
"The attackers licking their wounds took off limping away and bloodied down the alley leading to the Broadway.
"He told us to take a different route out of asda in future and this route is notorious for idiots and drugged up thieves looking to rob people.
"I asked him jokingly are you like Batman or something, and he replied that he is known simply as 'Guardian', because it describes what he tries to do for people perfectly."
Reports circulated of a similar figure, also named Guardian, taking the law into his hands on the streets of Bromley in 2017.
In February a Bexleyheath woman reported being saved from an alleyway mugging by a masked man who she said is "mad, in a good way".
After a dormant two years, it seems a hero has returned to the area.
