A Met Police officer was assaulted by a male at Kidbrooke station yesterday whilst making an arrest, with the suspect biting the officer in the hand.
British Transport Police were called to Kidbrooke station at 4:11pm on Sunday, February 2, after receiving reports that a police officer had been assaulted.
Train services on the Bexleyheath line were halted as emergency services responded to the incident, causing major delays for around two hours
The officer was attacked in the course of making an arrest, receiving minor injuries from the male suspect including a bite to the hand.
The suspect then fled the area. Police say efforts to locate him are ongoing.
