A 29-year-old motorcyclist who was left in critical condition after a crash with a car in Lee Green has died.
The smash happened shortly before 11.30am on Monday, November 11 at the junction between Lee High Road and Burnt Ash Lane.
An air ambulance, road ambulances, police and the London Fire Brigade were called to the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sadly, he died the following day. His next of kin has been informed.
The driver of the car, a 21-year-old woman, was stopped by police a short distance away. She was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
She has now been released under investigation.
