Beyonce has reportedly been filming her new music video on different estates in Catford and Thamesmead.
The 38-year-old was said to have been filming near HM Prison Thameside on Halloween.
A source told the MailOnline that she was looking for 'normal people' to be in the video.
A casting call is asking for “black and brown people of different cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, genders and ages”, who have backgrounds in London.
Councillors in Lewisham as well as Dan Thorpe, the leader of Greenwich council confirmed in tweets that she had been lurking in SE London.
Councillor James Walsh in Catford said: "So Beyonce is filming her new music video in Catford in Lewisham.
"She’s looking to feature local women & girls from a range of ethnicities and backgrounds to tell their story."
Leader of Greenwich council Dan Thorpe replied to Walsh's tweet: "She’s in Thamesmead too! Absolutely brilliant ."
