A salon in Hayes, Bromley, is offering a complimentary blow dry for any ex Thomas Cook employee who has lost their jobs.
Samuel Oliver, in Stations Approach, posted that the gesture is to boost the confidence of the axed workers preparing for interviews.
Director of the salon, Sam Pitham, told News Shopper he was in America when the holiday firm collapsed.
"I phoned my manager straight away and said we need to do something," he said.
"We have a Thomas Cook here in Bromley and this affects our local community."
Around 9,000 Thomas Cook workers in the UK were left jobless this week after the firm's brutal downfall.
Sam said offering a blow dry for men or women was "one less stress for them".
He added: "We can help out by making them feel amazing and it is the least we can do.
"We wanted to help because this is devastating news. These people have lost their jobs just a few months before Christmas."
A statement on Samuel Oliver read: "We are so sad to hear about recent events regarding Thomas cook collapsing.
"We would like to show our support and help as many people as we can.
"With numerous jobs being lost there will be lots of interviews happening, we’d love to make you feel your most confident so we are offering all ex Thomas Cook employees a complimentary blow dry to get you ready for that next interview and put a smile back on your face.
"Just provide us with your Thomas Cook ID or a payslip & driving license/passport. We wish all Thomas cook employees and their families the best of luck."
"Please call us on 02084625306 to make an appointment."
