An alleged knifeman has been arrested after he reportedly tried to enter a pub in Woolwich last night to the horror of customers.
The suspected knifeman was supposedly causing trouble at the Dial Arch pub in Woolwich and police were contacted at around 10pm.
A police spokesman told News Shopper they arrived at the boozer on No.1 street before being directed to Draper Street nearby.
He added: "A man in his 30s was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and taken to an east London station.
"A knife was found nearby."
We understand nobody was injured and that police are continuing their investigation.
News Shopper contacted the Dial Arch but was told that the pub would not be commenting on the incident.
