Two Bromley boozers have been picked for being among the best 550 pubs in the country.
The Bo-Peep and The Five Bells, both based in Chelsfield, were included in the 21st edition of The Pub Guide 2020.
The AA book records 2,000 of the most popular drinking destinations, including its list of 550 'pick of the pubs'.
Kay Stone, 68, who has managed The Five Bells in Chelsfield Village with her husband Adrian for 14 years, said she was pleased to have made the cut.
"We are very happy," the landlady told News Shopper. "We have been in the pick of the pubs before but it’s always nice."
She praised her team for helping to make the pub, which was built way back in 1664, one of Bromley’s best.
"We offer quality food and quality drinks," she said. "We have a friendly atmosphere and all our staff are really good.
"It’s a traditional pub in a conservation village and ours is a grade 2 listed building."
Kay said she was still enjoying being a landlady and spoke about some of her best memories.
"The royal weddings are always good. We all get dressed up as if we are going to the wedding," she laughed.
