A British actor who has starred in three James Bond films is supporting a football tournament in Bromley which will raise money for a blood cancer charity.
The KickOff@3 tournament will take place at The Warren sports ground in Croydon Road, Bromley, on Sunday, July 7.
It is being supported by actor Colin Salmon, who praised KickOff@3 for its work in engaging young people through sport and other means.
KickOff@3 was set up set up by Michael Wallace, a serving police officer, and Ashley Levien, who runs a social inclusion organisation.
The annual football tournaments strive to establish relationships between young people and their local police team.
The seven-a-side final will also raise money for ACLT for the third consecutive year.
Parents of Daniel De-Gale, who died in 2008 because of multiple organ failure, said: "The support KickOff@3 has provided since 2016 has helped to encourage hundreds of young people, to join the donor registers, to save lives of others in desperate need.
"[The tournament] will help towards even more lives being potentially saved or improved up and down the country. It will also provide an opportunity for young people to join an elite club of potential lifesavers by assisting our campaign to give blood and not to shed blood on the street."
Founders Michael Wallace and Ashley Levien added in a joint statement: "This project is about the community and the police coming together as one, while working hand in hand to make those key differences."
Famous faces like retired footballer Marcus Gayle and actor and broadcaster Judith Jacob will be attending on the day.
KickOff@3 final takes place on Sunday 7th July 2019 9:30 – 6pm at The Warren, Croydon Road, Bromley
