The date for the reopening of an historic building in Bromley has been revealed by Picturehouse Cinemas.
The former Cineworld on Bromley High Street will finally open on June 7, as announced today.
Picturehouse say the restoration project is one of its "most distinctive and unique projects yet" with a new bar and kitchen complimenting the six-screen film theatre.
Claire Binns, joint managing director of Picturehouse, said: "Walk through the front doors of Bromley and Picturehouse you’ll enter a beautiful historic building featuring a blend of classic art-deco design with modern Picturehouse touches.
"We love to choose unique, historical buildings because of the naturally inviting atmosphere and character they possess."
The building dates back to 1936 and the new cinema will open with the releases of Late Night and X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Watching a film at Picturehouse will set you back £14.10 unless you go on Mondays where a ticket costs £5.50
The first 2,000 members will have their names permanently inscribed onto the Founder Members' Wall.
