A fuel tanker that caught on fire has been causing traffic chaos this morning along the M25.
Despite the fire being close to Clacket Lane services, there are 60 minutes delays between J5 (Sevenoaks) and back to J4 (Orpington).
Kent Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets and foam to extinguish the blaze in the cab of a fuel tanker on the M25.
"Crews are continuing the cool the tanker, while they await recovery of the vehicle and the M25 slip road remains closed at this time.
"Four fire engines were initially sent to deal with this incident but two will shortly be released."
The tanker was on fire for just under 30 minutes, the road is being assessed for damage whilst the tanker awaits recovery.
It is reportedly taking over an hour to move through the area.
