Hundreds of pounds have been raised for a woman who suffered a fractured spine after she was viciously attacked above her own café.
Yau Fong Siu, 65, lives in a flat above Elmers End Cafe in Croydon Road, Beckenham with her husband Pete.
Three burglars forced entry on the evening of April 24 and threw carpet cleaner in Yao Fong's face and punched her.
She suffered a fractured spine, pelvis, arm and ribs after jumping from the first-floor flat window.
Stephen Siu, nephew to the café owners, told News Shopper his aunt was discharged from hospital on Sunday after back surgery.
"She seems to be getting on with things slowly at home," he added.
However, he said it was too early to know whether the café would reopen.
Customers of the café, which has served the area for almost 40 years, have pledged support to the couple.
Matt Paterson, who organised an online fundraiser, wrote: "Pete and his wife have been an integral part of the Elmers End community for over 30 years.
"His hospitality and her amazing food have served generations of Elmers Enders. The brutal assault on Pete’s wife has shocked the community to the core and all we want to do is raise some money to support them through this difficult time.
"For Pete’s sake, please dip your hands in your pocket and support."
So far the GoFundMe page has raised £500 from 38 donations.

Nephew Stephen said the family had received no updates from police.
He added: "The problem the community has is that these criminals are still at large and will think that they have got away with it."
A police spokesman told News Shopper last month: "Three suspects gained entry to the address and assaulted a female occupant, spraying a noxious substance in her face.
"They then carried out an untidy search of both the commercial and residential premises before fleeing the scene with a quantity of cash and jewellery."
The Met said this morning there was no updates on the investigation, and no arrests have been made.
